Fall 2016 In the fall of 2016, Ashley Teague traveled to Phillips County to witness the Healing the Land and Turning Point Park commemorative events, additionally meeting with members of the Salem Church congregation, Dr. Mary Olson, Ms. Tamisha Cheatham, Ms. Beatrice Shelby, Ms. Phyllis Hammonds, Rev. Jerome Turner, and Rev. Jarvis Smith.
